Used to own a Henry years ago, then took it into work where it got totally abused hoovering up marble dust all day. I got given a Dyson which was totally rubbish and i hated it for years, then i bought a Vax (what a load of crap) and all i ever really wanted was another Henry, so when my crappy Vax finally broke down i invested once again in a beloved Henry, this time a Henry Xtra as I have 2 dogs and 4 kids now. Why oh why did I ever stray from a Henry, I love it I love it I love it!! Its totally BRILLIANT and picks up all the hairs from the dogs and the girls with there hair extensions!!! Will never stray again.

So far - an excellent product - does what my old 'Dyson' wouldn't do!!!

These are the best little vacuums on the market. They are nimble, compact extremely reliable. I highly recommend the Henry Xtra vacuum cleaner, it does not disappoint.

having been repeatedly ripped off by other so called petanimal vacuum cleaners,i'd long since given up on anything ever picking up dog hairs. i bought this simply because i'd never tried a henry and it was half the price of a dyson. well, i can't praise it highly enough. while i'm aware nothing will ever remove 100 of pet hairs, this is as damn close as it's likely to get, it's amazing! obviously other brands spend more on advertising their useless cleaners than they do on the actual products. you will not be disappointed with henry.

I like this Henry. It is QUIET - and my last vacuum was so noisy it was like a jet plane taking off - not what you need in the lving room. I love the way it runs along the floor so easily and the fact that the cord winds in is marvellous! All the cleaning has been most satisfactory. I am extremely pleased with this product.

I bought a Henry a year ago to replace a venerable Vax which had been brought back into service when an extremely expensive bagless vacuum (which never had as much suck as the Vax with new filters) packed up after 6 months. Henry proved himself to be a great cleaner, smaller, lighter and quieter than the Vax and more capable of dealing with a bit of DIY mess too. So happy was I that I bought another - now both my children can hoover at the same time getting the house done twice as quickly.

Very pleased with Henry and in spite of heavy snow and ice it was delivered promptly by a friendly driver. I have marked down "ease of use" as it is surprisingly heavy. Reliability I have put as excellent but as I have only just received it I do not know if it actually is!

I absolutely love my Henry. Since I bought it, it's withstood the use of teenagers, dealt with the mess of a family (with pets). Easy to use and manoevre I live in a big tenement flat in Glasgow, so particularly like the long cord so I don't keep having to stop to plug it in somewhere new. I splashed out on the 'turbohead'.....worth every penny as it saves in effort hugely can't recommend that enough. The hoover takes lots of stuff before needing changing and its quick and easy to change. I have absolutely no resewrvations in recommending this and in fact have done so at work and with friends.

A good all round hoover and I know from using Henrys in the past that they keep on going for years and years.

After yet another vacume cleaner exploded and we faffed about for ages trying to get it repaired as it was just out of warrenty (etc etc!!) we finally decided that we needed to make ANOTHER purchase. Did have one of these years ago but moved onto upright cleaners that were suppoesdly for 'pet hair' but none did the job and all broke down. We really wanted the pet hair foot so this package was perfect. If your carpets need a real deep clean it's invaluable. There's a reason why all professional cleaning companies use these. They're so easy to get in and out of to empty and clean, good quality bags (we also go a reusable one which is great)and it's a design classic (for those of you that might be toying with the idea of a dyson - DON'T BOTHER!!!). Really compact, great cable wind action, v easy and never tangles, and not too heavy. Great suction and 2 power settings. Good attachments and a handy bag to store everything in. Can't fault it and will never buy another kind of vacume. Who can want more than a little smiley face to chear up the boring hoovering too - just the job. I'm sorry I strayed Henry, but I'm back now!!! :0)

This is my second Henry. I bought my first one twenty years ago - it's still going strong despite being used to vaccuum up rubble during a house extension, but has now been relegated to car cleaning only. I bought this model as I have a new cat called Harry who sheds his cream coloured coat regularly. The turbo brush is excellent at removing the hairs from rugs, carpets, upholstery.

We have used a standard Henry in the past and always found it reliable. The Xtra is exactly that giving a better result for a small increase in price.

Great Hoover, exactly what it says on the tin ... Very minor grumble ... Handle attachment could have been in a different position.

I love our Henry, he sucks up everything with not too much effort. I am glad we got one with a turbo head though as we have a lot of cat hair in our house and it does a reasonable job. I am not sure what hoover gets up cat hair totally, to have that much suction would take the pile off the carpet. Overall we are very happy and would certainly recommend it to anyone, but shop around, the price varies so much.

So far so good, only had it for eight months but Henry Xtra is as good or better than the Dyson we did have and a darn site better built and more reliable. This unit picks up all the pet hairs our dog can throw at it and unlike the Dyson you don't have to empty it every other day! Great machine and good value.

as always another straight forward hoover but with the 'turbo red end picks up all my cat hairs effortlessly i was one happy hoover-up-erer

Really pleased with Henry- much beter than the cyclone hoover we had previously- much less dust, lighter to carry and less noisy. We have dogs so hoover at least once every day,and recently had to buy a new carpet brush tool as we wore the original out- which is the only down side.
