Powered by the Arc Lithium battery, the EGO Power+ line trimmers give you all the power you need to tackle the toughest jobs.
Trim with power and control with the Ego ST1401E-ST cordless line trimmer. This model features a 33cm cutting width, perfectly suited for smaller gardens, and solves one of the biggest frustrations of line replacement. EGO’s ground-breaking Powerload™ technology automatically loads the line into the trimmer head. Just thread the line, press the Powerload™ button and let the tool do the rest.
The efficient and powerful brushless motor allows you longer run times, and can be fitted with any size EGO battery to keep you going for as long as you need. The soft-start function of the motor means extended life, plus a smoother experience when firing up the tool. The speed control is a constant speed, but with two-speed selector which allows you to increase the power when needed.
When you’re up against more stubborn, overgrown, or thicker areas, the two-speed modes mean you can ramp up the power to slice them away with ease. The free-rotating bump cap lets you rest the cutting head on the ground without being worn away, making purchasing replacements a thing of the past.

The ST1401E-ST is equipped with the Ego 2.5AH battery, plus standard charger so you can reap the benefits of switching to an electric trimmer and save money each time you use it. The inclusive battery is also compatible with all other Ego POWER+ garden tools.
The ST1401E-ST includes a loop and quick-adjust handle for balanced and comfortable operation, plus a telescopic shaft means the height is also adjustable to reduce bending and provide long-term health benefits. A 2.4mm nylon twist line and the ST1401E-ST features a clockwise cutting rotation. A plastic guard is fitted on the head to protect the user from debris which will be stirred up during use.

Ego are so confident in the performance of their tools that this product carries a full five year domestic use warranty when you register here within 30 days of purchase. This warranty only covers defects arising under normal usage and does not cover any malfunction, failure or defect resulting from misuse, abuse (including overloading of the product beyond capacity and excessive exposure to water or rain), accidents, modification, alteration, neglect or lack of proper installation and improper maintenance or storage. This warranty will also not cover parts or consumable accessories subject to wear & tear during use. Inclusive batteries are covered by a 3 year warranty when the machine is registered with Ego within 30 days of purchase.
How the warranty works: If you have a problem with the machine during the first 28 days, please report the issue to Cleanstore through your account and we will replace your product by return. After this period the warranty is undertaken by Ego & as such you will need to contact the manufacturer directly to report a warranty issue.
