We have had a large Rug Doctor carpet cleaner for over two years now - and with dogs in the house we found it excellent to get those muddy footprints and the occasional accident cleaned up in no time. However the portable spot cleaner is far more convenient and lighter to use and is on constant standby as we have acquired two new pups.

Bought the new Rug Doctor for my sister in law as she has a few cat's and dogs to look after and they have the occasional accident. After using it for the first time she said it was a brilliant machine, easy to use, reliable and good at cleaning up the odd spot. So much so I was thinking of getting one myself - even though we have a rug doctor machine ourselves - the new portable spot cleaner does what it says on the box - it's portable and good on spots.
