I retired my old Henry (still working very well) to upgrade to Charles as the ability to suck up water might come in handy for my business. Great suction, very handy tool storage. The only thing I miss from the old Henry is the retractable power lead function. All you can do with Charles is wrap it around him. To be fair it is absolutely fine doing it this way.

The numatic charles is compact, powerful and surprisingly quiet. Would highly recommend. Looking for a second hand one for garage use.

Since i run my own small housekeeping business, i thought i'd invest in a good hoover, after using my daughters henry hoover i then decided to buy one for myself to use for my business, i have used charlie ever since, i then got busy and employed someone to help me, so i then went and bought hetty, so now i have 2 hoovers for my business, and there is no-way i would buy any other make of hoover, i've been delighted with my purchases of these hoovers, and i would recommend any of these hoovers, whether for your own home, business small or large.

yes i would purchase this product again i thought my carpets were clean until i used this machine

The Charles is a great wet and dry vacuum, however should your main usage be carpet cleaning and upolstory cleaning we would recommend one of the following: Numatic GVE 370-2 George or Numatic GVE 370-2 George with A26A Kit or Numatic GVE 370-2 George with A26A Kit + Cleanstore PLUS Kit These also have a detergent spray.
